𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗖'𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 💔🎭A surprising revelation from the BC Coalition for Arts, Culture, and Heritage: nearly half of BC's individual artists are facing a stark reality, with 48% anticipating earnings below $30,000 this year. This figure falls short of the Living Wage for Families B.C.'s standards for a basic living in 2023.The arts are vital to our culture and communities, yet the financial challenges our artists face are significant. It's time to advocate for change and support. 💪𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚? Visit the COACH website to learn how you can join the movement towards better support and recognition for our artists.
