Applications will be assessed on the following criteria:
Download the Project Grants Application Form HERE. The deadline for submission is February 8, 2013 by 4pm.
Applications for grants are adjudicated by panels made up of members of the arts and culture community who recommend to the Directors which applications should be supported and the dollar amount of that support. Each panel is chaired by a Director or by the Coordinator. The role of the Chair is to provide information, manage the process and record the panel’s decision. The Chair does not make a judgment on the applications.
Panel members must declare both actual and perceived conflicts. A panel member with an actual conflict does not participate in either the discussion or the vote on the application for which the conflict is declared. A panel member with a perceived conflict must accept the decision of the other panel members as to whether he or she can participate in the discussion or the vote or both.
