Central Cariboo Arts Centre, 90 4 Ave N, Williams Lake, BC V2G 2C6, Canada More info: https://www.facebook.com/CCCSociety We invite you to join us at the Earth Friendly Holiday Event on Saturday, December 6th from 10 am to 3 pm at the Central Cariboo Arts Centre in Williams Lake. It’s one of the warmest, fuzziest events of the year. 💚 There will be natural crafts, trash art, refreshments, and – yes! – you can make your own gorgeous wreath using an upcycled bike tire rim in our wreath room. ♻️ If you still have your bike rim from a previous year, please bring it along to reuse. 🙏 This event is free-of-charge, but if you are in a position to do so, we will be accepting non-perishable food and monetary donations for local food banks as well as new or gently used warm clothing for the Giving Tree. This event doesn’t happen without many hours of volunteer service: 🪵 Collecting boughs, bark, berries, grasses, and cones 🚲 Preparing bike rims and wrapping them with wire 🖌️ Planning crafts and gathering supplies 🍲 Preparing refreshments 🪑 Setting up the arts centre ☺️ Hosting the stations 🧽 Cleaning up the arts centre, especially the pitch! 🫠 Our thanks to you all and we look forward to seeing everyone there! This event is brought to you by the Community Arts Council of Williams Lake and Area, the Cariboo Chilcotin Conservation Society, and Scout Island Nature Centre with support from the Central Cariboo Arts & Culture Society, the Cariboo Regional District, the City of Williams Lake, the Province of British Columbia, and member groups of the CACWL.
